Wow.... Nobody has anything to say about the new designs? Huh. Eheh... Talk about a let-down. ^^

But here we see Andy's new cut. The thought going into his is that it's going back to the original idea. When he was first designed at the beginning of the comic he was supposed to have messy, goofy hair that he cut himself. His Mom doing it felt nicer and better fit to what we see about his home life later. It felt neat to give him a sorta weird and kooky look. Especially love the big smile he has when taking his hoodie off. Apparently he was nervous showing it to the news crew, but doesn't mind showing it to his friends. ^^

Yeah, I like the idea of the kids celebrating their major win with ice-cream. It's such a cute little-kid way of celebrating the victory. ^^ Originally I was gonna do a thing where Jake would hand them money before walking off to make his confession, but his arrest wound up being so sudden that that didn't happen. So guess Jenny's fitting the bill.

Liked having Grant be the awkward, embarrassed kid. Might try and do more gags about that. ^^

Yeah, Andy's design is probably the most radical departure of the bunch. We played around with it a good bit before we settled on going with this much scruffier, scraggly look, although once we hit on it we were sold on it, as opposed to weighing multiple designs like we did Grant and Valerie.

Also get some back-and-forth on the new looks, kids themselves commenting on them. Think some good gags here, like the exchange between Grant and Valerie in particular. Just some cute stuff of everyone unwinding a little and getting caught up.

Actually really curious to see how the next page goes over. Feel like it might be a direction some people aren't quite expecting.

Ice cream victory party! Whoot! Also, ahahah! Grant and his hero worship! Doing an Alex Rayne thing, hehehe! It looks nice on him though so no comments on him aside from that.

I have questions though. If Nicky’s hair is as rubbery as the rest of him, what about his nails? I am now imagining him trimming a toe nail and it being sent flying and bouncing around a room like some mega bouncy ball. And just what is it about Miss Su that enables her TO cut his hair? These are important questions!

I wanna see others of the old blue blood class (mostly our favorite filler hostesses) now, but I guess that can wait. Proceed with overly delayed Celebratory Victory Ice Cream!!!

Silly Rastaba- they aren’t drawn with nails! XD

Though I have to admit, that is a good question- I’d assume it’d be similar to a cut rubber band- or he could peel the nail off.

OH! I think I meant to say it in-comic, but I think the center had special scissors that could easily cut his hair. ^^

Wonder what Alex himself thinks of his fanboy's new style, very interesting, wonder what's going to happen next.

Heheh.... Good question. ^^ I'm really curious what his response is gonna be in seeing it. Probably trying not to snicker.

Admittedly, you could say Andy's hairstyle seems like a homage to Jake's. It's subtle, but it's similar.
