Heheh.... Yeah, we'd already hit our quota on Jenny Hugs (I tend to have one early in the chapter no matter what in case I forget), but here's a few more. I've been wanting to do that bit where everyone else in the group hugs HER for forever and kinda wanted Jake to be there for it, but this was the perfect place to do it.

Yeah, we haven't seen much of Jenny's dad, but I really liked seeing him here. I was gonna have him be 100% against it, but as the chapter's gone on I've liked the idea that each parent reacts differently, with him on the fence of seeing the greater meaning but also being horrified for his kid. Admittedly because he's the parent I have the least of an idea in mind for, not sure how that'll unfold going forward.

I liked the idea of an overly-phony and condescending cop talking down to the kids after they were apprehended, mostly trying to plumb them for incriminating information about Jake. Mostly because I tend to hate-watch SVU and get really sick of how they always talk to victims by asking leading questions in condescending baby-talk. The detective Jenny's talking to is designed to look that way, dressed like a cop from one of those shows and being overly-friendly by petting her hair, and I liked Jenny just ignoring her.

That said, until I sat down and wrote this page, didn't occur to me Jenny would've stayed at the police station until her dad got into town. Same with the Strines; I knew Valerie would be staying with Heather's parents during the time-skip, but didn't occur to me that they'd be waiting there until their parents showed up.

As mentioned, the other kids' parents weren't as much of an issue since they were all in town, so we'll get to them in a bit. ^^

Ugh. I'm angry at WWE and my neck hurts, this is not the ideal time for me to be talking about comics.

Kind of doesn't help admittedly that I really dunno what to say on this one offhand. Do like how it came out, just doesn't really give a huge amount to talk about for me unfortunately.

... Yeah, I'm coming up blank here. I do hope everyone enjoys this one though.

Group hugs are the best hugs. Period. No arguments will be accepted and shall instead be fed to the sarlacc.

Beyond that, Jenny definitely seemed to get the short end of the stick being stuck alone with the police lady trying to not so subtly drill her for evidence on Jake. And of course being faced with an understandable reality of how her action had hurt her father.

Yeah. Group hugs are definitely called for here. And anyone who disagrees will also be fed to the sarlacc.

I was wondering why Jenny had Jake's jacket, very interesting, wonder what's going to happen next.
