Heh. Yeah, been eager to post this page, do think it's a pretty fun gag. Been enjoying Lori's slide more into being insanely over-the-top and animated, it's a good role for her... although I kind of want to adjust that one-before-last panel now that I look, her face is looking way more angular than normal there.

Either way, yeah. Not really sure how much I have to say on this one offhand but do hope that everybody enjoys it. Just leaves us Andy and Grant's parents' reactions left to cover (although we already saw a glimpse of Andy's), anyone have any expectations there?

I'm trying really hard to get relaistic reactions out of the parents. Who DIDN'T get this? When you're in so much trouble your parents don't even know how to respond to it. I can't be the only one who once messed up so bad his Mom felt every emotion at once.

Hhehe... Yeah, Lori's a character I really love, so had no qualms doing an entire page about her reaction to things. Again, trying to get a different reaction from each set of parents What I kinda like is that, amidst all the emotion-scrolling, Lori probably is genuinely proud of her sister and thinks her being a super-hero is the most awesome thing ever. It's just she also has to be the boring grown-up who has to be mad she did it. I wanted to emphasize just how split she is between those two perspectives, and liked her flip-flopping between emotions.

I meant to have Lori get more and more undressed as the page went on, but somehow she wound up really suddenly transitioning from work-clothes to underwear. As we saw in the last chapter, she was at work during the fight, meaning she came to get Lore without stopping to change first.

Also I like the gag about not getting the ice cream for free. I do kinda like heroes who will wave away rewards, but Andy being raised on video-games probably gives him a different view of the situation. ^^

Words are failing me right now, makes me wonder how Lori felt when she lost her parents and what she had to do to make sure she was granted full custody of her little sister.

Heheh... Really happy you like this one. ^^ And yeah, this kinda nicely illustrates how much craziness Lori probably goes through to be a guardian to her sister. Just on an emotional level. It's a really immature but loving reaction and she clearly doesn't know when to be a Mom and when to be the fun big sis.

...I seriously think Lori may need to talk to a therapist or have some sort of counseling. She comes across as kind of manic-depressive to me but I whole-heartedly acknowledge it might just be me as I do not know all the criterion for such. Only that mood swings like THAT probably aren’t healthy for either of them.

Beyond that though, now I wanna see Grant’s parents reactions! Pretty please with all their gathered ice cream flavors on top! I wanna see that potential train wreck so so badly!

Heheh.... I dunno, I think she might just be in a really extreme situation and not know how to properly react. This would mess a lot of people up. Like I said, I got in this situation a lot by my Mom.

Ohhh, don't worry, Grant's folks' reactions are coming. Those are.... Different.
