If you read WaR's latest update, you know that I've recently been really sick. And worse than that, I was sick on days off when I usually draw and it's been taking me a while to get over it. As a result I wasn't able to get the latest page ready in time and we really needed a break for me to recuperate. Martin threw out doing a filler for Easter just to give us a break and yeah, I really needed it. At least I'm getting back on my feet.

Easter filler was harder for Blues though, due to the last page. Easter is usually an opportunity for something super-cutesy, but that would've given us whiplash after the dark, forboding last page. So decided to focus on the Night Terror and give a little more emphasis on its apparent ability to change shape and lure children in. ^^

I kinda rushed this picture, and honestly the Night Terror itself was the thing I spent the least amount of time on. One reason I wanna do a shape-shifter is so I can do really twisted, bizarre forms, so just vaguely-evil bunny felt like a low bar. I can already see ways it could've been improved.... Eh, given I drew this because I was sick, maybe can give it a break. Did have fun with the scenery at least.

For the record, the next update is the annual anniversary picture. So... Kinda another bit of filler, but a planned one this time. Sorry, folks~

Yeah, this came out of Adam being sick kind of delaying everything; as explained on Wright as Rayne it's more of a Blues issue than a WaR one, though both comics were delayed for it. We'll have a real update for WaR on Monday, but Blues will be the 10th anniversary stuff instead.

Kind of a tricky one to comment on, this one, since it's just a creepy Easter image without much context to it, but was fun getting to work with this background in particular, tried to get it looking pretty good though did it right before going to bed so probably some room for improvement.

Eh. Either way, am sorry for the break but the whole thing kind of set us back a few days and we would've been left scrambling to get something out last minute otherwise. Hope everyone enjoys and please be sure to swing by on Wednesday for the year 11 preview.
