And this wraps up this scene. Not too much to say here, since there's nothing really new color-wise, but do like how this page came out. This pretty much wraps up the set-up portion of this chapter, though, and it fully kicks into gear on Saturday - still twenty pages to go so don't expect anything earth-shattering, but the march toward things happening really gets underway then.
As a close out to the costume subject though, I'm probably changing Grant's cape in the next chapter, though. In some sketches the outside of the cape is grey while the inside is white, and I tend to prefer that. Minor detail but figured it was worth noting.
Heheh... I like how all the kids get worked into this page.... And Jake's red, off-duty jacket is basically his "costume," or as close as he's gonna get.
"Puttyboy" as Nicky's hero name wasn't something I didn't think of until I did this page, but if I had thought of it sooner, I could easily gone with that. Although that might make the sidekick thing too obvious.
and I don't know why a grown man would be agint letting kids make him a costume..lol
lore seems a little eager to pick a fight, but jake handled it rather nice.
