Heheh... Was was Martin's idea and just love it. Having the kids gush about their favorite cartoons just feels... natural. ^^ Very fun.

Have to admit I've never seen Lion's Guard myself, but we were trying to give Nicky a love of animals and it felt like a natural one to go for. Again, Martin's idea to give him this one. If I'd thought of it at the time, totally would've drawn him playing with some of Marina's summons in the bus.

Martin tweaked his haircut a bit more. Thoughts? ^^

Haircut tweak proooobably isn't lasting; really it just came out of some broader attempts to make the art look a little more crisp and being adjusted as a consequence of editing his face shape, didn't really intend for it to be as different as it came out (and it originally came out more different before I backpedaled on parts of it) but hey, maybe if people like it we can move more in this direction going forward, we'll see.

Not a show I've watched either so yeah, not a lot of direct commentary on the show itself. But we've had it in mind for a long time now that Nicky likes animals a lot and wanted to reflect that, so it felt like an appropriate choice to go with that fits that aspect while also just seeming like something he'd be into.

Funny note, originally it was going to be Val's phone he borrowed for this but then we decided Grant being willing to loan out his made more sense.
