Heheh... Yeah, was just in the mood to draw Valerie tonight. Never a bad time for her. ^^

I probably could've gone more into my exact thoughts on Lower Decks buuuuut I didn't wanna ramble on; I still definitely like it loads more than any of the current Trek shows. It feels like the only one written by someone who's actually watched some of the older series.

Wanted to throw out something else Sci-Fi related she could be looking into and Steins;Gate came to mind. Already wanna do a call-back at one point showing she's seen some/played some of it. ^^

Not a lot of exposure to Lower Decks myself but this did kind of make me get to wondering about how Val would feel about Steins;Gate. Kind of split, I could maybe see her enjoying it but I could also see how eccentric a lot of the cast is being a turnoff for her. Though I'd say her favorite character would probably be either Kurisu or Suzuha, think I'm leaning the latter.

If Val looks a little different to you hear I was trying to do some tightening up on her haircut in cleaning it up, trying to make it a little more realistic. I think I overdid it on the blue in her bangs, bit too spiked out and think it extends up too high, and I think her bangs could curl more, but think this is a pretty natural starting point for that sort of thing with her.
