Not a crazy amount to say on it granted but quite happy with how it turned out. Like kind of the mix of outfits we haven't seen in awhile and new ones here; in particular I like the extra details we added to Nicky's overalls, making them look a lot more realistic I think. Also pretty happy with Guy's shirt. In general dunno if anyone gets much out of the running thing of him always wearing a bunch of different wrestling shirts but it's something I tend to enjoy doing with him. Not even intentional on my part that an Insomniac chapter has him wearing a Wendy Choo shirt, kind of just wanted to do that one, but it's actually a really appropriate choice.
Speaking of fun cute background elements, like the octopus painting on the wall there. Definitely like leaning into that being the school mascot, is a touch I wish we'd thought of sooner.

Interesting.
It's really weird getting back to the comic being set back at the school... Probably not helped by spending a chapter in the desert immediately after it was done... Makes me nervous about an upcoming story having nothing to do with the school, honestly, but we'll cross that when we come to it. Most of the story will be taking place in the school from here out, so hope folks'll enjoy.
But yeah, part of that is establishing that the inspection on the kids' powers is still a thing that regularly happens. Marvelous Man was just one way that knowledge can be applied; there are other, non-horrible ways it can take shape too down the line, and that's why the kids go through with it. So wanted to take a minute to re-introduce it to fans here. Again, it's done alphabetically so Andy (Allit) and Lenore (Blutzucker) are among the first to get called in for it.
Just a cozy page showing everybody having a fun time before we get to the heavy stuff.
