Next logical step to cut to was Heather and Valerie, since it'd been a second... Pity we don't get any making out, due to Heather's awesome dad coming in via phone-call. I like the idea that because of her body heat she can't lift the phone up to her face to talk.
If you haven't read WaR, you might need a crash-course on how Megan's powers work. Here ya go. As for who she is and why she's following the Blues kids... That'll be coming up. Just wanted a second to establish it. ^^ I loved doing this with Lenore; it's very easy to write her off as just Lenore-being-Lenore.
Adam was actually pretty split on who to cut back to for this, but I figured Val was the best bet and he quickly agreed since we haven't seen too much of her in this chapter. Kind of just fun getting to see her, Heather, and Guy hanging out, always a fun group but been a bit since we've really gotten to see all three together. And of course the cameo from Heather's dad is fun.
Another little touch I like here, Valerie tends to be pretty openly annoyed with younger people around the school and dismissive of things, but she's still quick to ask Lenore if she wants to hang out when she senses something's up with her. Think kind of goes to show how even though she's prickly she's good-hearted and wants to help.
So Lenore can see invisibility? Neat.
