Yeah, more color-free battling here. Not a whole lot to say on it, but pretty happy with how it came out.
Aurora takes a beating in this chapter, huh? Thing with William early on, blown up, tied up in Putty's arms, shot with a laser... Yeah, really not the best week of her life I guess.
Heh. Funny you should say that- the violence issue against Aurora made this a really hard comic to write.
I mean, I don't have any rule saying female supervillains can't be hit- it's always sorta bugged me how comics try to avoid that subject at times. I didn't mind Jake punching Martina because she's obviously evil and dangerous. But Aurora isn't malicious, so I really had trouble making the Blues kids outright attack her.
Instead they mostly struggle with her constructs until now. Even then, she gets off light compared to the fights with Mech and Martina.
Wouldn't exactly call it a fandom war. ^^ A fandom war would be if Grant compared it to something from Star Wars. Of if Valerie said she had a favorite GL that wasn't Grant's favorite GL.
