But yeah, honestly, I'm kinda waiting for this chapter to end so I can get to the next one. Usually don't feel that way, but there's not much left in this one besides setting up the next major story arc, plus the next chapter turns out to just be so much fun. It's been a lot of work but think you guys will enjoy it when it comes.
Plus I need to get THAT chapter over with quick because of plans for something big coming after that so... Yeah, a lot to do.
The third panel is a semi-reference to I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. I hate that movie so much I want to stab myself for putting it in this labor of love that's supposed to contain all my favorite things in the universe.

Well this scene is certainly interesting in quite a few ways, and a great showing of how strong the friendship between Valerie and Heather is.
Heh, seriously though, I'm pretty happy with this page. I do want to see more of Heather and Valerie's relationship at some point - there is definitely more to their friendship than we've seen, I'd have to think. I imagine if Adam gets around to doing a chapter based on the center's opening days there'll probably be a fair bit of that.
One more page left to go in this scene, then we'll be changing gears for a bit. We have four pages left to go in the chapter - hope everyone enjoys everything to come!
