Nope, Andy still hasn't learned that he should wear shoes.
Not sure how much I have to say here really, though I am pretty happy with it. As can be seen already this chapter is pretty heavy on extras and side characters, though we'll get into the thick of that in a little bit.
Yeah, admittedly most of what I'm coming up with to say on this one would be a little more relevant later into the chapter. Still, I hope everyone enjoys.
I go barefoot everywhere myself, so tried to put that tendency of mine into the comic. Also, like Nicky, I loathe cold weather. Give me sweltering summer heat anyday.
Su's reaction is also my own if there's so much as a snowflake where I live. I'm legitimately sorta annoyed with how little a deal Yankees make with snow, like they just accept that it's a given wherever they go. Those of you who live especially far south know just how absurdly rare snow is for us. I dunno, Yankee-centric American media in general tends to annoy me.
... Wow, that tangent came out of nowhere....
Anyway, wanted to quickly display that Alex couldn't change the weather back. I'm trying to remember if it made it in or not, but intended to have some dialog telling us that snow in this weather is too extreme a weather change for her to do, just to illustrate what a big deal this is.
But yeah, a lot going on at once here. Whole chapter's like that; probably one of the higher accumulative head-counts thus far.
Oh, it bares mentioning, Su might look a little off in the one panel because this is where we first experimented with changing how we do side profiles. It'll be a bit before the change fully sets in for Blues, but if you read WaR and BP (or have seen some of the fillers we've posted that have it) you know how it'll come out looking.
So, will Andy manage to cobble together some snow gear, or will he spend the rest of the first part inside, more than likely being taunted by Vincent, since the latter can stand colder temperatures on his extremities?
That's something I put in one night like a couple of months ago mostly just to test how the idea would work. Not really something I intended to go public on, at least for the moment, but it does exist.
But yeah, this Alex's a girl. ^^ As for Taktaq, she'll be along later. Both her and Guin factor into something planned.
