Martina doing all this in front of a crowd turned out to be weird. Again, gave me the chance to be creative about how to handle it, but had quite a bit of fun with it. There is one part of how things are handled with her that I'm still miffed about, but can discuss at the end of the chapter.
We get a slightly more cohesive idea of Martina's religion here, and some explanation about what her powers and outfits precisely mean. More on that down the line of course.
The snowflakes around Martina came out bad, though. They're too big and blotchy. We improve on that in the next few pages, though.
Snow Represents Death... Is that a trope? I think it's a trope.
I'm not really sure what I have to say on this one exactly, I have to admit.
Still, am happy with how it came out. A lot of this chapter does kind of bleed together in terms of giving us much to say - there are really only a few big scenes in it with little jumping around going on or anything.
So, yeah, in all honesty I've pretty much got nothing. I hope everyone enjoys though, and the countdown to the 300th page continues!
I wonder how the kids got here so fast with all the snow blocking the roads, and it looks like their already in costume except for their masks, snow represents death, winter itself seems to represent the time when life comes to an end while spring represents renewal.
