Here are the comments from our lovely Martin for a start. ^^ Tired, so will add mine later.
So, yeah, outside of Atlanta Alex isn't really a very notable figure. Actually how I've pictured it for a long while, it's not just for the sake of the plot here. I don't see Alex as a huge celebrity or anything close to it, just a huge name within superhero circles whose only real flirtations with being known outside of that were being the first to beat Ivy, his eventual affair with her, and him leading the charge to bring down Gaston. There are also those Ivy and Mania & Bell documentaries, with his in post-production,but those are more low budget indy things that just have some acclaim behind them. We'll touch on the documentary thing soonish in WaR, actually.
Anyway, yeah. Not sure how much I have to say on this one beyond that, and I'm sure if you don't read WaR my comment makes little sense. I'll have more of note to say next time.
Astel is a character I kinda wanted to see more of; really love cats myself, and think it's funny that someone as mean as Stickset has such a friendly, cuddly pet. Also drop a mention to the ghost-girl Gwen, who I sorta picture being the school gossip.
Not much to say about the page here, mostly just set-up for the rest of the chapter and Wednesday's page. I do like the gag with Jenny zipping down and zipping back, though.
Kinda a shame there are so many establishing pages since I've figured out this chapter could easily be the longest we've ever done. At least in all fairness, the currently-longest is Best Served Blue, which didn't need to be as long as it was and if I'd been a better writer I could've trimmed it down. This one legitimately has a LOT to discuss and cover, especially since we're not sure when we can have another crossover.
So Grant's going to introduce himself to Xsndy soon, can't wait to see her get properly introduced to all the main seven cast members and I wonder how Alex himself is going to make his way into all this.
