Weirdly this is not the only page in this chapter where the word opossum comes up. And no, they're not related.
But yeah, not sure what all I've got to say on this one. In looking what page to put up next I was honestly pretty genuinely surprised it was this one, it didn't quite occur to me that the last page was the last one of the fight scene. Granted, we have a few more in this leg of the plot so not done with this setting yet or the fallout from it.
So, very green eyes there. I'm sure Laura would be quite jealous of that if Alex could tell her about it.
Think that's about all I've got. Try not to mentally add, "My planet needs me," to the fifth panel.
Yeah, clearly, we're not seeing the last of Antlers here... ^^ It's just he needed set-up before he could be properly used, and since we needed a quick bad-guy for Alex and the kids to team up on, he was an easy choice.
It's weird; I was kinda sure the leaf thing in the last panel would be the hardest part to draw. That or the image of the Weeping Willow in that one panel, but turned out I had more trouble with the image of Antlers disspelling his shield. I hope it's properly conveyed that's what he's doing there.
Again, Alex's expertise on suffocating people to the point of losing consciousness comes in handy.... ^^
Anyway, fight scene's over now, hope folks enjoyed. ^^
