The Black Family stuff is cool to come back to though, we do seem to be slowly getting more details pouring in about the family's background and stuff. If you're wondering, yes, there is a plan down the line for there to be a Blues / BP crossover like the WaR one. And an outright WaR / BP crossover story as opposed to them just intersecting here and there will happen too.
Yeah. I dunno, I don't have too much to say. Still want to do something like this in WaR at some point, do have some stuff that would be appropriate for it.

I knew there was a reason this made me think of the Black family, ooh very interesting wonder how all this will tie-in to the main story of not only Blues but BP's as well.
Yeah, it's weird we do a crossover with WaR first given Black Princess has stuff going on in Texas and apparently the events take place near or in Stonewall judging by a few cameos. Still, I do like the idea of exploring the larger magical community, and the origins of The Black Family's regional monopoly on magic, so was a neat way to explore that. There are other nods to it in mind down the road.
I kinda pulled the "Descended from conquistadors" thing out of nowhere for Black family, but thought it would make sense given the way their organization carries itself. I dunno, guess it never says Blik was a conquistador so eh. Given the stories of conquistadors trying to find mythical secrets like El Dorado, seems like that would open BP up for more stories.
Oh, right, if you guys didn't see it in BP, Sareena Black's family's name used to be Blik, but they changed it. Somehow I misremembered it and thought the original name was Bleck. Martin corrected me of course, but did lead to this weird little doodle.
