This page took me an eternity to color for some reason, really not sure why - nothing all that complex or anything compared to some other stuff in the chapter.
Speaking of, the night shading really is way too dark for these city bits. I lighten it up in some upcoming pages and it looks a lot better than these bits have so far. Really should've gone back and edited it on this one honestly but little late for that I guess. Would probably handle it now, is pretty quick, but computer's lagging up a lot as I'm trying to type this up so maybe later tonight I'll tweak it.
Anyway, yeah, not sure what all I've got beyond that. I do hope everyone enjoys though - fight's coming soon as you can probably tell.
Yeah, is kinda weird how the city is darker than the woods, isn't it? Huh. Still do like the page, in particular bits like Lore sleeping on Jenny's shoulder and Jake telling Valerie about the Iliad. Val's kinda too old to get bedtime stories though wanted her and Jake to have a similar moment. Have a few things like that in mind. ^^
That hairdresser was someone I was looking forward to bringing back. She not only keeps up with the Smash Brothers theme for the extras, but she actually showed up in the comic before. ^^ She was way back in chapter 5, as the mom of one of the kids in the Center.
The cops, meanwhile, are new but also based off Smash Brothers characters. Two are pretty obvious but the other two... If you guys get them I'll be really impressed. The one in the center I actually had to look up.
Heh. Know who that is. ^^ But the main character of Kid Icarus isn't named Kid Icarus. There's actually an Easter Egg in Smash brothers making fun of it.

Oh... Huh, sorry. ^^ But no, thought that was a bit too unusual a name for a modern-day kid to have. Me and Martin recently went back and cataloged all of the students in the school and gave the boy the name Gabriel. Prefers to be called Gabe.
