Not sure what I've got to say on this one. Doesn't help I'm not really running on much sleep and have been up a long while. Eh.
Kind of wonder if this should've been stretched out to a second page - dialogue is sort of thick enough it's hard at points to tell where it's coming from and it does seem a little bit rushed. But as Adam's noted before, he's been kind of eager to just get this chapter through with so probably just as well.
And indeed it is almost over - only one page left to come before we move on to a bit of filler then begin chapter fourteen, Blue vs. Green.
Yeah, preaching to the choir on lack of sleep; all day today was a nightmare with the AC, so pretty tired by now.
But yeah, like I said the chapter didn't come out how I planned it; this thing here abuot the kids all showing their own reactions to Marvelous Man should've been the main focus instead of the examinations. One reason I had to cram all their reactions at once here is that I wanted to show their varied thoughts. Probably could've easily been stretched out.
I like coming back to this same window we opened the chapter with, and also Jake looking so worn out after working all day. Think it's just nice. ^^ So yeah, what they're doing IS illegal, isn't it? Kinda forget about that. Either way, we'll have to wait and see in the future how Marvelous Man factors into that... Hope you'll enjoy.
Interesting. Lore's cocerns are legit as are the others.. it fits jenny to be giving MM benfit of the doubt.
Val...i get the feeling she's just overly hostile still from her exam.
while the others have legit worries her "he's not as experince, why should we take orders from him!' seems more routed in her being shipped off over her lack of control when younger.
