Oh, yeah, this is like fifty minutes from going up. ^^
Anyway, yeah, just standard stand-off with the mud-men. Did enjoy doing the sheer blobbiness of it. Blob-forms are actually rather fun to try and attempt to convey a sense of motion or malice, both of which I had to try when that one was attacking Mech.
Will say at this whole sequence goes on I'm finding it more and more exhausting to write. I really enjoy juggling the characters and giving them all a part to play and think I'm fairly good at it... But bulking up the group from seven members to thirteen made giving everyone a moment a real nightmare. Suddenly reminded why I hate shows or comics with Loads And Loads Of Characters for the heroes; I feel like you can do less with more when it comes to teams. While I like the cyborgs I probably won't have them teaming up with the kids for a long time.
Reason I'm bringing this up is that on checking all the kids have contributed something to the fight thus far, and I really was under the impression I was leaving someone out until like just right now. I just feel like something's wrong because the cast number is unwieldy.
Lot of typos in this one now that I look again. Notice at least four. I might fix those later if Adam doesn't handle it.
Anyway, yeah, not sure how much I have to say on this one, is pretty straightforward. Kind of falling into a trap of not really working on coloring again but am doing so presently so guess can't beat myself up too much.
Probably shouldn't have made those mud men quite as red as I did. The red tint I've been giving everything in a lot of these parts to sort of put over being surrounded by the brown trees just makes them look orange when I was going for a clay kind of thing.
