How Vespitina was written required a LOT of input from Martin. While with Alex I've been working with the character constantly for years so kinda-sorta had an idea how to write him, Vespi I wasn't sure about. It got to the point that before writing this chapter me and Martin role-played the two characters just to get an idea on their chemistry and how they'd play in the chapter proper. In particular that's where you get her awkwardly climbing between the seats here.
In particular I was really afraid of Vespi playing like a Manic-Pixie-Dream-Girl but Martin gave advice to keep that from happening.
Not much to say here. Again, we'll get more into who Vespi is moving forward.
Oh, right, Vespi has a Southern accent. I'm saying that now because I have a LOT of trouble writing that consistently.
This one's kind of odd to talk about. As Adam said, we pretty much RPed out basically this whole scene, this is mostly just lifted directly from that and tweaked a bit.
It's kind of hard to speak on Vespitina's role in things or what her character's kind of like since we will really be exploring a decent bit of that and her relationship with Jake as the chapter goes along. Does bare noting if nothing else that we do have some pretty solid plans for her going forward and she's probably going to be fairly recurring, so there is that.
Not sure what else I've got, but hopefully everyone enjoys.
