Wow, this has to be one of the easiest-to-draw pages in the entire comic.
So yeah, with how Marvelous Man's personality is wired I've sorta been regretting making him as unlikable as I have. Really needed a Pet The Dog moment and figured this was a nice choice. Not really much else of a point to the page. Well, that and to transition to the next scene.
.... Okay, even then not really because come Saturday we'll be going back to the Center. But we'll see what Marvelous Man is doing about this whenever we flip back to him.
Maggie had glasses the first time we saw her and then never again. Because I had forgotten she wore them. Was really surprised to find that out when I dug back through the pages to see her office. I liked the glasses a lot because they made her less of a Lois Lane clone and made her look more professional. I guess she doesn't need them all the time given she puts them on in Panel 1.
Not sure what I've got to say on this one offhand, but do like how it came out. Kind of a common thing with Marvelous Man pages I guess.
Do like getting to show a bit more of a nicer side to Marvelous Man though, really would like to explore some of that more but hasn't really had a huge chance to come up. Another thing about him we haven't really gone into previously is also on the horizon for his next scene.
Buuuut that's for a bit down the line. As Adam said on Saturday we'll be cutting back to the school. Hope everyone swings by then!
