Ugh. Dunno how up I am for commenting. Lemme see what I've got to say...
One thing I discussed with Martin on this page is if Jake really needed to tell the kids what happened to Qrime Qure. I think he maybe didn't HAVE to, but to him he felt the kids were mature and competent enough to sort of deserve to know what had happened. He probably figured that hiding the truth from them would've been insulting and respected them enough to tell them the whole story.
The description of Jake as "Bert from Mary Poppins crossed with Batman" I think is weirdly accurate. I personally think "Bert from Mary Poppins crossed with Mike from Breaking Bad" is more accurate, but the kids likely wouldn't get the reference.
This is actually the first time in the chapter the whole group's been together. Guess to be expected in focusing on Jake but still a little weird to note.
Not sure what I've got to say beyond that though. You know it's actually been a really long time since we saw this room? Been like 130 pages or something. Though then not all that much time's been spent lately in the center outside of this chapter so I guess that's the reason.
We're actually pretty near the finish line of this chapter, just a few weeks to go. Unfortunately despite the next chapter being a Halloween one it won't be starting until after Halloween, but what're you gonna do I guess.
Well Lore yeah it is, but in MM's defense (go figure i'm defending him) MM saw what he knew to be a dangerous crimal going after what he THOUGHT was helpless kids so he reacted quickly to end the threat.
Does that make it totally right? Eh. nooo but again, MM mostly did things the way he did becasue the guy was a nutball and because he knew he had kids to protect.. soo honestly.. Kinda their fault too.
