Eheh.... Yeah, I do like reading it when fans send in ideas about where the comic could go, just always feels awkward when it's something I like but wouldn't work in-story. So thought I'd take the time to highlight these story ideas out of affection, eh? ^^
If nobody objects (I'm afraid somebody will think this is an attack on readers but quite the opposite), will probably do one of these every filler. Some of the ideas you guys send in are interesting alternate avenues. Kinda know what I wanna do after the next chapter. ^^
I wanted to see what Jake and Marvelous Man looked like with those haircuts. Kinda like the result on the latter I'm tempted to shift his design closer to it or something. Not like the way he's drawn hasn't shifted violently already anyway.
Yeah, this was basically just a little fooling around spotlighting an idea we've been pitched and sort of going into some of the issues that would arise from trying to integrate it. Not a whole lot more to that but hey, it's something.
Don't know how much I've got to say but I do hope everyone enjoys, and we'll see you for the start of Showing Your Blue Colors on Wednesday!
Yeah. Maybe if MM were even prior to going Hero more...normal size he might have gotten away with just not recognizing the guy. I mean Caucasian guy with brown hair, blue eyes, and a sorta pompous attitude...a pretty generic every man when you get down to it until you add MM's raw stature and such to it.
But as it stands yeah. Wouldn't make sense for him not to mention it unless he had some reason not to which except something really dark I can't imagine...and I prefer Jake's past acquaintances being fairies and magical whimsical fun stuff anyways rather than big jerks like MM.
Still might have been a cool way to tie things in more personally to them.
Heheh.... Don't worry, we'll definitely be getting more into Jake's past in the future. ^^ There's some interesting stuff planned there for him.
But yeah, that's the main thing I regret losing. The kids have never had that kind of Spider-Man villain who somehow has a personal connection to them outside of being a villain.
I think Martina Ferguza and Franklin, aka the cultists, are about the most personal enemies the kids have for the simple matter that they are the only repeats aside from Leonard Spencer who is more of a frenemy now.
Like I could see leonard sending the cyborg squad against them just for laughs one day, only to invite them to check out some new toy his girlfriend's built the next.
Martina though after being thwarted twice to my memory has some valid hate towards the kids or should at least be building some.
