Yup, Mr. Jake's still around too. ^^ Got himself a tough job mopping up spills and standing on his feet all day, but also lives at the school with the teachers and other staff now.
Hm. Odd word-balloon placement on this one. Also took me a bit of time to get Jake's look right, but proud of it for the moment. At least proportions aren't more or less off.
Sorry about the delay on this, been having some Internet issues. Still, looking good, though it doesn't give me much to say.
Do like how that shadow in the first panel looks, though. Also the shading on the grass under Grant - that's a neat little effect that hasn't really come up since but probably should.
...I've always wanted a bat dingel of my own...something where if iws over at a friends house and needed to come home..mom would shirne it in the sky. ^^ seems like less of a hassle thn using a superman singal watch.on my end nyways.
When you really think aobut it, Jimmy's Signal Watch doesn't hold up. It'd be much more useful if Supes just carried some Kryptonian super-cellphone with unlimited calls that was able to be reached anywhere in the world. The watch worked in the 60s since those things were just sci-fi, but today it seems it'd be more convinent if you could actually tell Superman what was going on before he just showed up. Especially since the watch can be stolen and used to lure him into a trap.
Heh... Well, almost fourty more pages (over fourth months worth of comic-time) have already been drawn, but new ones coming out are a bit more loose and not set in stone. I usually don't go for suggestions, but I do always like hearing them, so sure. ^^ Send 'em to me. E-mail's very_good_year@hotmail.com
