This one's a weird one to comment on. Sort of simultaneously a lot that stands out to me and yet a lot I'm not sure how to comment on.

I think the Ivy trying to drive him out again thing is actually not quite entirely accurate in this case, but it's kind of understandable given the situation for Alex to not really elaborate on how he's already fought her like this and all that, plus I doubt they've seen each other since. And to be fair Alex was concussed in that fight.

Other things that stand out... One big one is that mysterious apparently black-eyed woman. I'll go ahead and say on that since Adam indicated it earlier that that's the same woman as the one who was in the armor with the helmet a few pages back. Again, we'll see her again shortly.

Then there's another matter I'm really hoping we get some comments on, all I'll say there.

Heh. This page is a lot more visually boring that I remember.... That second panel is really just there to punch up the images and should've done it with one of the others. That said, did like managing to come around and pull all the things Alex brought up in his long talk about the business into this big speech. Wasn't intending to bring it full circle when I started.

Either way, yeah. I kinda wanted to give a bit more depth to hero popularity than just the normal "Everyone hates you/Everyone loves you" thing you see in Comics and show that there are always people who hate you no matter who you are (I really love the line "On some level the public hates everything"). I didn't wanna dwell on the homophobia (Biphobia?) too much since it seemed like it'd be really Tumblr-y, but it is something I imagine a lot of idiots would object to that Alex would need to hear about a lot.

I do like the Make-A-Wish Foundation nod; seems like something I could see Alex doing.

On the other "matter" Martin mentioned, we actually wondered about not including that line, but kept it in on the basis of "I think most of the readers already know."
