So I know a few fans that are excited to see Martina again. Sort of a weird character for me in that she has no real connection with the Blues kids other than she wants to do bad things and they move to stop her. We even lampshade it here by pointing out that she doesn't know any of their names.
Felt really weird writing Martina again after so long... An interesting twist is that while in earlier chapters the holier-than-thou stuff was obviously an act, here I wrote it with the idea she was being more genuine. You can read that as her becoming more into the role or something starting to believe her own story; either pretty much works. ^^ Really just doing it to try and give her more of a personality.
We don't quite learn the name of Franklin's replacement just yet, it's something that is hard to get into. ^^
Was doing the tornado bit at the end where it occurred to me "Ooo, wait, no, Lore should be able to stand ground on it. Likewise Jenny because of those gigantic legs." Was just sort of a neat thing to come about in the drawing of it.
For what it's worth there is a reason for swapping out Franklin for this replacement for this chapter, just not really time to bring it up just yet. It's not a change we just made for the sake of it, don't worry.
Good to have a little back and forth here, and I do like Martina immediately deciding to shift her focus to Vespi. Think that kind of does a lot to demonstrate where her priorities lie and kind of show just how little she actually regards the kids as a threat.
You actually had Andy make that final boss comment about her outfit, that is funny, if it's this chaotic with only Martina and Franklin's replacement, what's going to happen when they run into the cyborgs and the BP crew.
