Eheh..... Jeez, set this up under VERY frustrating conditions this morning before having to lie down and didn't even leave a placeholder comment. That's awkward. But yeah, just more of the kids and MM throwing down.
We saw earlier that Marvelous Man's immune to Grant's main sonic-stunner but apparently vulnerable to his razor-whistle. That said, didn't plan on it being so painfully obvious what Valerie's doing in the backgruond when drawing this...
Really like how the visual of Nicky trailing behind Jenny looks, though dropped the ball on when he's supposed to rubber-band into her back. Another funny visual tidbit is that Marvelous Man has more trouble breaking than Jenny after moving that fast, and has to stop himself by digging his feet into the pavement and tearing up the street.
Since it's obvious what's going on with Val, that thing Lore's holding in the first panel is the covering on one of those maintenance-panels you see on streetlights. She just pulled it off like a bottlecap.
Originally the thing stalling Marvelous Man was gonna be him spotting the paparazzi himself, but I had NO idea how to continue the fight after he saw them.... Genuinely didn't know what his reaction would be. Re-wrote it to be Grant stalling for time, and thankfully at a later page I figured out exactly what his response would be.
Kind of a hard one to comment on I think, but do like how it came out. Lore's poutiness in the first panel in particular I think is a cute little touch.
Either way, yeah, this page is mostly just a setup for the next one, but that one is one we're super happy with so that is something.
