So it turns out Valerie and Alex have the same middle name. Who saw that coming? Apparently between them and another project of ours the surest way to know one of our characters is not heterosexual is if their name is Thomas.

Yeah, little more with this, doesn't give a gigantic amount to talk about but I am hoping that everyone enjoys it. We should be back to the regular schedule come Wednesday, really sorry about the delay but it's been a bit hectic.

Well, Thanksgiving has come and gone, and Black Friday with it. Both were.... not too terrible. I skipped Thanksgiving dinner finally and just talked with the family afterward and had a lot of fun, and Black Friday had a lot of really, really brainless customers but there were no tramplings or knife fights. The only real drawback was since I had so much crap to deal with I feel like I never got a day off. All the same, wanna get two pages ahead on the comic before we get back to the normal schedule. Sorry about this break, folks.

Yeah, this is a fairly normal, boring filler. The only thing worth discussing are the middle names. After her brother was named after a famous astronomer, I wanted Valerie to have a space-related name too... She wound up being named after Valerie Thomas, a NASA researcher and inventor. ^^

I'm sure I've mentioned this at one point before, but Grant's named after Grant Morrison, one of my favorite comic book writers... Morrison is well-known for his super-thick Scottish accent (Seriously. Click here to hear him talking about Superman. He sounds like a cartoon.), and kinda grown attached to the idea of Grant having a Socttish ancestry. Knyght is just a Scottish surname meaning Knight. Since adding it I've been thinking about that; I think Knyght might've been his Mom's maiden name... Which is another link between him and Superman, since that's where Clark Kent's given name came from. ^^

Andy's name, again, is something I made up. To make the alliteration between "Andrew" and "Allit" flow more naturally, I wanted a word that included both the "N" and "L" sounds. Do he's named Andel after... ..... A crater on the moon, let's go with that. ^^
