Yeah, this is the second-to-last page we're doing for this chapter. Not TOO much going on, but we needed a better ending note. Something to show the Peacekeepers and the kids leaving the daycare on good terms.
But the main reason was to have the kids come clean about what happened to Quinten Quartz. While not a major issue, it's sort of been hanging over the connection between the two groups since the kids met Felicia, and Martin pointed out that if they two sides were making peace than it needed to be brought up.
I sort of was afraid that this would be too fast as well, since it also was sort of breezing through the subject... Plus the last time we saw Felicia being confronted on her husband's coma she was.... Less than forgiving about it....

But I went back and re-read the scene and yeah, the circumstances are entirely different. For one thing, the scene with Marvelous Man was at most a few days after it had happened, so the wound was still raw and painful. It makes sense she'd be more reasonable now. Secondly, Felicia was not only talking to someone directly responsible for what happened, but someone transparently unapologetic for his part in it.
Huh... Wait, I just realized, the scene where Marvelous Man "apologizes" to Felicia about his part in Qrime Qure's coma happened in a chapter where our "hero" spent a good chunk of the story fighting Decay Conductor. Like... Holy crap, that was NOT intentional. Couldn't've worked out better if I'd planned it.
Aaaand just noticed an issue with the speech bubbles in the last panel... Lemme try and smooth that out myself....
Yeah, this is another one of those cases that came out of me interjecting on the way the scripts were originally written to suggest we give this a little bit more in the way of focus; it was largely gisted over before while here at least it's a page specifically focused on the matter. I do think maybe could've had more focus than it does but still pretty happy with how this one turned out.
Like Adam said, the next page is the last one of the chapter; kind of one that he wanted to keep relatively breezy since a lot of what's coming up soon is likely going to run pretty long. We'll be going on a break in-between but are really hoping everyone's going to enjoy what's to come. ... I'd tease the next chapter title but we're still throwing ideas around for exactly what to call it. We'll try and have that figured out by Saturday.
