First of all, if you didn't see it we put up a random filler for Pride Month yesterday. ^^

But yeah, this was always planned on being the final page of the chapter. Given Decay Conductor's stated goal was to go there and murder Marvelous Man, it was poetic that she wind up safely secured there and in a cell next to him. I get the feeling she'll be able to torture him at least, being the ultimate troll.

I really love the sort of administrative, overseeing side of this universe and what the world needs to keep going. I kinda can't get into that TOO much without just stopping the story to explain how it works (even then, I've done it quite a bit), but I did like slipping in references to what the day-to-day for a super-powered prison is like, in particular the Miranda Rights situation for new inmates who are brought in unconscious. In general was just great seeing this prison and Professor Blake again; we need to come back to it in the future just because it was fun to work with.

Speaking of, I imagine a lot of cells are custom-jobs like Decay Conductor's, and that the facility is used to rush orders along those lines. Also, Decay Conductor's real name, Silverstein, is just something I came up with on the spot. I kinda wish I'd come up with something a little more mundane and boring.

Given she'd shown a begrudging respect for the kids, and even for the Peacekeepers never showed the contempt that she had for Marvelous Man, it felt natural that Decay Conductor would freak out this much. Buuut the last time we saw her lose a fight she entirely flew off the handle and began screaming near-incoherently, so I think that's her reaction to losing.

Martin's really found some awesome use for the Manga Studio tools lately, which he used on the glass.... We're really happy with it, especially for the stuff we have coming up, but best to let him get into it. ^^

Hope everyone enjoyed this particular chapter. We'll be taking our usual break, but have some unusual filler planned that actually works as an epilogue for this. We'll see you guys, then. ^^

Computer is being a pain so having to comment on the iPad, just a heads-up if I don’t come off the most talkative on this occasion. If you didn’t see we also posted yesterday's WaR Pride Month filler to Blues so can get a look at that if you like.

Yeah, while the last few pages were rewritten pretty last minute this one was left as it was. Think it’s a pretty good way to wrap the chapter up on kind of a funny note and to revisit a couple characters we haven’t seen in a bit. Marvelous Man is looking slightly less freakishly gigantic, art progression!

All I’ve really got but hopefully everyone enjoys. We’ll be taking a break after this chapter before the next one starts; we’re really hoping everyone is going to enjoy what’s coming, likely a long chapter but we’re very eager to get to it.
