Pretty tired as I set this up, but pretty standard continuation here. More of Protocol's backstory, albeit probably the one page easiest to cut from this sequence.

This was actually suggested by Martin when we were hashing out Protocol's backstory. We've mentioned in the comics that Protocol has been trying to raise the standards of super-heroing across the country, which will be something that comes up in future story arcs. The suggestion that witnessing an ill-prepared hero endanger their own lives as well as the people they're trying to protect would help inform her belief that the job has to be done at the highest standard.

I was really tired when I drew this, I dunno what I was going for with that hero. I think I put some Espeon in that?

Yeah, this page pretty much just goes to show why superheroics are what exactly Protocol wound up focusing her skills on; in general a theme we're really interested in exploring with this whole universe is kind of the standards, culture, and flaws of the whole vigilante industry as it were and given Protocol's focused on trying to shore that up, it makes sense it'd be a key part of her origin.

Funny thing about the colors on the hero in the first panel, I kind of just clicked around to find a Manga Studio file to draw colors from and ended up making her color scheme basically a Catra / Adora hybrid. ... Go watch the She-Ra reboot if you haven't, it's great.

All I've really got, but hope everyone enjoys this one.
