Heh... This is sort of a weird one to comment on, since this is just a transitional page. Like I said, the fact that the kids are all living apart means a lot of time has to be sunk into them meeting up again at the start of every chapter. At least it does lead to some fun gags, like Jenny gushing over her regressed Dad.

Like I said, was playing up that Lore doesn't really know how to hold a baby, so was fun having Andy and Blair immediately tease her over it. Meanwhile Valerie clearly is fed up with all of this and seems to have her head on the straightest.

I actually had to do some serious digging in the scripts of old chapters to get the names of Heather's parents (Ashley and Drake, because fire puns). All I got, though. Very simple page.

A funny thing about this, we discovered in the process of doing it a pretty big screwup on a previous page.

Yeah, the hand Drake's supposed to be missing the fingers on is his right hand. No clue how they showed up as missing on the left in that one panel, no clue how we missed it, but yeah, they didn't regrow here or anything, we just had a stupid mistake when the subject first came up.

Lot to like about this current page though. I think my highlight is Valerie in the first panel, pretty good expression there. Think this is pretty far outside her comfort zone and given how her family dynamic is, I doubt that she really has very much direct experience with really little kids like this despite having a younger brother.

Also I like the mix of reactions to this whole situation - you've got Lore freaking out, Val just kind of generally annoyed with it, Jenny being all giddy, and Andy basically just snarking his way through it. Should be interesting to see how Nicky and Grant react, eh?

Funny thing, I decided very last minute to use this page to do sort of a cram session on door knobs last minute, which turned into having to redo a bunch of gradient and tone stuff around it... and then the second panel's doorknob, which was the one I wanted to redo anyway, wound up covered by the dialogue anyway. At least we can see part of it in the fourth panel?

Oh wait, he still has his adult scars? That's neat. Most people don't consider that detail with regression stuff. Most of the time, they're just 'made how they look when they were a kid' and don't take into account scars. Unless it's related to some kind of time travel nonsense, that erases scars. Lol.

But no, that's a good detail to remember.
