Heheh... Yeah, this page is sort of superfluous; we already knew where Andy and Lore were gonna be going, but I wanted just one more page of everyone looking adorable. I genuinely don't know if baby!Lori will be showing up again in this chapter and I really wanted that moment where Lore assures her she'll fix it. Plus just more cuteness with her and seven-year-old Blair.

Plus the hug... Yeah, like we said, Lore was pretty freaked over her sister getting babyfied, I think because she just looks up to her so much. Once that happened she needed the support of her friends to get her back in the saddle, with Andy in particular doing a lot to calm her down. Really liked doing that dynamic, and felt it was important to have Lore acknowledge it and thank Andy for helping out. ^^

Andy's scarf had been bugging me for a while; that bundle tie in the front of it made it look more cumbersome and often hid the logo on his chest. Wanted that fixed, so tweaked it here to look more like Strider, the ultimate scarf-wearing Ninja. Aaaaand since that was the out-of-universe influence, why not just make it the in-universe reason as well? ^^ Apparently Andy's mom is a Marvel vs. Capcom veteran.

I also tried to get the scarf looking more flowy and billowy, at least for this page. Lore's cape is doing that in the 5th panel too, but I think that's more just because she's throwing it dramatically over her shoulders.

Yeah, this is kind of a largely disposable but fun page - pretty much just a bit Andy and Lore regrouping and getting ready to head out. I like the symmetry with the hugs there, their sisters having a surprise hug and then it happening with them with the roles reversed. Dunno if that was on purpose but it's a cute touch.

This page was actually kind of a relief due to being one of the easier ones to cover thus far; the constant jumping around from scene to scene has made this chapter kind of a chore for me, especially given the relatively static locale and low headcounts that've been going on in Wright as Rayne. And of course I'm presently writing its next chapter to be more like this one in jumping all over the place making it harder for myself, why wouldn't I?

Granted I say that but blushing tends to be a bit of a pain the way I've been doing it lately and this page has a lot of it, though that's not been an unusual phenomenon during this chapter. Very blushy one. ... Next page doesn't have any but it does have Grant so you'd think it would.

What kind of stories did Andy's grandma tell him.

I would like to know too, maybe it could be a True Blue Filler thing.

Heh. Admittedly I sorta threw that comment out without really thinking about it, but it's a good question. If I had to guess his Mom played a lot of pranks on people as a little girl.

I've been waiting on an Andy and Lore moment like that since I started reading this comic.

Huh. I guess this was a bit more affection than average, huh?

My vote is Jake is going to be literally the oldest he can be without being over 14. My vote is 13. Though the reverse is also possible, but not likely considering the reason we all want this plot hook. Also, Lori already holds that position. XD

Why? Because his luck SUUUUUUCKS.

And Andy's dad is so whiny. XD

Well like I said on page 9 about theperspectives of Grant's mom. In this if Andy's dad was his adult self he would come off as a dad scolding his son and laying down the law. But in his kid body he just sounds like a whiny kid.
